How do you use the digprham and soft palate together?

when you sing from your digraphm and use your soft palate do you use the voice that u talk with and sing with that ?

and also when do you know your vocal chords are rubbing together?

    When a person sings from the diaphram, it is not the diaphram that produces the tone but the vocal chords. The diaphram is compared to the volume on an amplifier and used to control the power as to how loud or how soft you want to sing.

    The singing voice is not the same as the talking voice. Rappers  do this but not singers.

    Listen to Chrisinte Aquilera when she talks. you would never guess that little power bomb has a 5 octave range.

    As for the vocal chords rubbing together is irrelevant. Just concentrate on the diaphram and the tone of the vocal chords.
