The TV and computer both need the same output parameters. The plasma should have an HDMI input and the computer an HDMI output and you just use an HDMI cable. You can buy an adapter to convert HDMI to DVI, if one has a DVI input or output. If both have VGA connectors, just use the appropriate cable.
