How do you view a maxwell dvd-r camcorder disk without the camcorder?

If you finalized the disk before removing it from the camera, then any DVD drive should be able to read it (keep it away from Mac Superdrives). However, if you did not finalize the disk, you'll need to put it back in the camera and hit finalize, which is essential to make the data on it readable. Unless this is done, the video on the disk is unusable.

Therefore, if it wasn't finalized, you can't view it without the camcorder.
