  1. The current Executive branch, under GWB, has seriously eroded Separation of Powers.

  2. I view it as relatively limited.  While the Pres. cannot declare war without first gaining permission from Congress, he CAN use the military for up to 90 days without that declaration.  The best move Clinton made (and was shot down by the Supreme Court) was the line item veto.  A very nice and expedient way to get rid of the coat tale add on's that by themselves would never stand and get passed.  The Pres. can attempt to influence, he can sign or he can veto.  That's about it.

  3. I view it as they have too much power, all this checks and balances, not helping. If the President had less power, in most cases he does, then he wouldnt be able to make that many mistakes. Sure he has the help of senators and his cabinet but he still makes mistakes. I mean take a look at GWB..man..

  4. Blows me away, I had no idea that he or she or in bush's case IT could get away with the c**p that bush has and if this is case something needs to be changed fast while we still have a country.

  5. Overrated......bush is a lame duck.....were just wating for him to leave his office.....with a democratic congress and senate nothing is being aggreed upon
