How do you volunteer for the roadside cleaning?

Question

I always see people on the side of the road or freeway picking up trash... how do you volunteer to do that on the weekends? I think those people are super upstanding individuals.

it is easy... get on a freeway you want to clean wait for a cop and throw a soda out your window... then when he pulls you over tell him to "**** off... it is your road"... then when he gives you a ticket, don't pay it... go to the judge and tell the judge to stuff it in his butt... and tada instant roadside cleaning detail. enjoy.

I think those people are outstanding as well. And their uniforms are so trendy! They make bright orange in the winter the color of the season. I'm not sure how you join. If I were you I would just go up and ask them how to join and see if you can get them to take a picture with you.

It's good to know that someone cares!  You can contact "adopt a highway."  If you do a web search, there seems to be several different ones for various states.  You can also contact your local city/county offices for info.  Some of the people doing the cleaning are volunteers, others are just doing their "community service" sentence.
