How do you want a restaurant be like?

Question

if you are ever going to put up your own restaurant(or wish your favorite restaurant cud have been or have offered distinctively) how would you like it to be?

for instance, i wish to find a restaurant where you cud ride a boat while eating, or a restaurant on a tree top or maybe a restaurant which serves their meals on banana leaves or you can actually eat on bear hands instead of using utensils...the likes.what is your idea of a good and distinct restaurant that you wish you cud have found?

to me the most important thing is managing a restaurant

hire the right executive chef(s) and sous chefs to design your menu ask them to try to match the menu to your restaurant theme

when you're going for a restaurant theme u should probably go for the one that can be aided by the harvest seasons

for example: strawberry season that'll help you produce strawberry recipe menu items

what i would love in a restaurant is that they are up to date with whats in season so it can taste the best

Exotic dark wood and huge window walls that overlook a rugged sea.

I'd use scrims for privacy.

I'd also want deck seating with a negative edge pool that gave the appearance of running right into the sea.

Good, but soft lighting. Neutral color scheme. I'd want the wood, water and glass to be the focal points.

well i love cheese burgers,fries,and milkshakes. so i would open a 50's dinner. or a restaurant half way under water so people that want to see the ocean can eat and enjoy the view.

Big wine glasses!  Must have big wine glasses!  Linens with a high thread count.  Don' need to be white but high thread count.  I also love fixed menus.   Forces you to try new things!
