How do you want your Bloody Mary tomorrow?

I'm a bit of a Bloody Mary heathen. I prefer mine with the spirit as half vodka, half gin. I usually go for bottom shelf plastic bottle vodka like Prince Igor (hard to get, but worth it for that permanent marker taste) and something nice, like Beefeaters or, failing that, Tanqueray Rangpur (the lime adds a nice 'zest').

I do one oz. of each of those. To that, I add 3 oz. of low sodium V8, just to keep my potassium intake high. I add a layer of maybe 1 tbsp. (yes, that much) celery salt (hey, you gotta make up for the lack of salt somehow) and 1 tsp. of chang mai red curry powder.

Add a bit of cardamom, some fresh parsley, and a nice sprig of celery.

with 1 olive 1 pickle and 1 pice of jack cheese

1 1/2 oz vodka

3 oz tomato juice

1 dash lemon juice

1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

2 - 3 drops Tabasco® sauce

1 lime wedge

Shake all ingredients (except lime wedge) with ice and strain into an old-fashioned glass over ice cubes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add the wedge of lime and served with a smile
