How do you wash and dry satin sheets?

1. Hand-wash the sheets in lukewarm water. Use a gentle fabric wash.

   2. Hand-wring the sheets. Note that wet satin tears very easily, so handle with care. The best method is to place the sheets inside an absorbent white towel and then wring.

   3. Hang to dry. Hang the sheets over a clothes horse or other similar hanging place out of the sun. If you cannot hang it out to dry, use the lowest setting in a clothes dryer.

You can wash them on a cool wash in your machine, as most machines these days have setting for most fabrics, but don't let them go on a fast spin speed, and hang them out on the washing line to dry.
