  1. 1 and 5.  Have a super wax which I purchased recently.

  2. I'm living in Germany at the moment and it is illegal to wash your car unless you can prove that the dirty water is drained and treated before entering the sewers, which means I end up going to the car wash. You can wash your car there yourself because the dirty water is treated and recycled.

  3. There is no better way to clean a vehicle then to do it by hand. If it's a hot day its better to do it in the shade or under a carport. Basically anything to avoid direct sunlight because that will dry the soap faster and could cause spots and have to go back again. Use a nice, CLEAN hand-mitt. Just like a drive thru automatic car wash, dirt can get into the mitt or brush and give light scratches to your car's paint finish. A good brand name wax such as meguires or mothers is good to use, i'd say two to three times a year maybe more.

  4. The best way to wash your car is with a jet-wash at your local garage. The reason for this is two fold, first you get to wash the whole of the car and not just the bits that the brushes can get to.

Secondly all the water used is captured by the garage and safely disposed of and not straight down the drain.

    Ja.

  5. Manually - with a chamois leather cloth and car shampoo - it always gets the best results although I occasionally use the basic car wash for a quick once over if it's grubby and I don't have the time.

Try the new turtle wax - it is the business.

  6. I take my car to a carwash down my road who does interier and exterier for £6

  7. My car can`t be put through a car wash because it will damage or rip

off the rear spoiler. It has to be washed by hand and this will take about

2 hours to get it just right.04 plate mgzr 160 v v c.Last of the mgzr range.

  8. I am lucky enough to have  "life time" finishes on our cars which enables me to use a hose and soft brush, followed by a quick dry using a soft cloth or leather. Bird droppings etc.come off so easily. I admit I clean both cars regularly and if we unfortunate enough to have some obnoxious substance deposited I deal with it immediately and do not allow it to harden and cause imperfections to the paintwork.

  9. I go to a car wash its quicker easier, and if i choose the works, everything gets done under-body wash the lot lol  the only gripe i might have (its more of a worry really to me) is that the wax treatment that the car wash spray on, i wonder if its enough to really protect the car.  i mean water does bead off it so it must do the car some good.  i even heard that car washes recycle water- i do not know how, that's a question someone needs to ask lol
