  1. 1. Login to Youtube

    2. Click on Account/Video Playback Quality

    3. Set it to "I have a fast connection. Always play higher-quality video when it's available."

    Thats it. :)

  2. Howto Get Videos to Play HQ by Default

This option has not been implemented on many accounts but the howto is already present in the youtube help pages. You need a youtube account to be able to do this.

    Go to your Account page.

Under “Manage My Videos” click the “HQ Video Playback Setting” link.

Select the playback setting that makes sense for you.

    Click the “Save” button.

  3. Ok for this you need an account.

    First login to your account.

Second hover your mouse over "Account" on the top right and click other.

Third scroll down to the account category and click video playback quality and when your there you can choose your quality.

Also if the video doesn't have a high quality button you can add "fmt=18" or "fmt=6" at the end of the video so it will play in high quality.

    Example:

add fmt=18 to the end so it will look like this

    http://www.youtube.com/fdjklsaffdsfmt=18
