How do you win, in life, if there are always people who are against you, won't agree, etc?

No matter who you are, what you do, what you accomplish, what you think what you have, etc, there are ALWAYS people that will knock that, won't agree, think it won't be good enough,..etc etc. You'll never be smart enough, rich enough, skinny enough, this enough, that enough.

It just won't ever happen. lol.

So how do you win?

Is the best answer to just basically shut everyone else out BUT yourself, and don't care about what anyone else has to say but yourself?

Set your measure of success based on your own goals, not upon what others think.  Then it simply will not matter whether they believe you measure up to their criteria.  Their criteria is not YOUR goal.

u remind urself of how much God loves u and with Him by ur side and the Holy Spirit within u, u can always have someone on ur side(unless of course its something bad that God doesnt like)

Life isn't a game.

There's no winning or losing.

Yes, some people may be doing better in life, but that doesn't mean that you're losing... nor are they winning.

Life is life.

Just live it.

Shutting yourself out is simply trying to ignore the problem, which won't work in the long run.

You have to accept that there will always be someone better off - in some way.  No one has everything.  I know plenty of financially rich people who have a terrible family relationship.  Then there are those with average or below-average incomes who have tight knit families and are very happy.  

And with regard to what people say to you, if you don't agree with what they're saying and they're waiting for an answer why not say "I'll take that on board, and choose to disregard it".
