  1. First winterization is a storage procedure.  Drain everything that has water in it.  Lurbricate everything, and change the oil.  Put Stabel in the gas tank.  Some people fill the block with an antifrees mixture good to -50.  a good practice......The jet drive only has to be lubricated, look for zerk (greese) fittings.  Spray everything with storage lub, see CRC's web site.  Don't forget to fog the engine while it's running.  If the boat isn't in the water, get a plunger, like you use for a tolet, take the handle out, and drill a lile big enough to s***w a water hose conection into.  put it over the intake for the engine water pump.  have someone hold it in place as you start the engine.  It'll stay with the eng running but will fall off if it stops. Change oil and fuel filters, and it's tricky but cut off the fuel and fog the engine as it dies of fuel starvation, that way no fuel is left in the carb.  That's about it, for a quick course in storage,, but think ahead, like pull the drain plug and covver the boat so this winter ice doesen't plug the drain.  Good luck!
