    For the most part they say keep them out of direct wind, put it on your patio, close to the house.  You can also wrap the pot and base of the plant with burlap to insulate against the cold.  You can also just bring it in the house.

  3. guess if your in a "cold" area of the country...move it inside if there is a danger of frost.....if its a warmer area but still subject to "cold" nights cover it...do not use plastic!...some plants are damaged by cold weather more so than others due to lack of water..a plant will show cold damage quicker if its dry.Do not do any trimming if the new growth has a chance of sprouting during "cold" periods.Hold off on fertilizing till threat of frost has passed.
