  1. Most radios only need a power (red wire) connection which is to the hot side of the ignition switch. A ground wire (black wire) to chassis ground, and a constant voltage wire (yellow) that goes to the other side of the ignition switch. The speaker wires are separate and simply run to the speakers. It is a pretty simple deal. However when you get into audio sound systems with an amp and such, the job multiplies many times.

  2. Same as any other vehicle.  Just follow the wiring diagram for the deck.  Yellow to constant power, red to ignition power, black to ground, wire up some speakers and you're done.  Make sure you plug in an antenna or your radio reception will suck.

  3. You be reading the instructions (and wiring diagram) that come with the radio.

You be spending the extra 10 bucks for a wiring adapter that plugs right into the factory connector.

If all else fails, you be following the wiring diagram  for the radio circuit in the REPAIR MANUAL (The one I'm sure you already purchased) for your vehicle and THEN use Scotchlocks and follow the previously-mentioned wiring diagram that came with your NEW radio.
