Put 141 on the front.It only does it for that single call so if u want to withhold it again u have to put 141 on front every time or u can get bt to do it permanently.They give u a code to put in ur phone.If u ask bt for a call services leaflet theyl send u a leaflet with loads of codes to do difrent stuf to ur phone.

Why do you want to do that? I only phone people I want to phone and I know they want to hear from me!

If your home phone is with BT, then just dial 141 before the number for example:

141 0800 800 8000

This method just withholds your number for that call.

depends what country you are in, in new zealand you dial 0197 then the number , ring your service providor if you are somewhere else

In the UK its 141 before the number.

If you reside in the UK then you put 141 before the number that you wish to ring e.g 141 0181 801 8055.

This will block your number, but bear in mind that some telephone numbers will not accept a call when the caller has withheld their number, if this happens a message will tell you this and ask to redial again.
