How do you work a scosche 3.5mm to Rca/Video Cable?

I recently bought a Scosche 3.5mm to Rca/Video cable to put my ipod's video onto my tv. When i hooked it up all i got was audio, when i tried it on another tv i didn't get anything. Why isn't my cable working?
