  1. Whats that in links?

  2. 1 (square foot) = 0.09290304 square meters

so just multiply the number of square feet by 0.0929 to get the square meters

  3. there are 39" in a meter

so measure  2 sides in inches  divide by 39 to get meters and multiply together to get meters squared

  4. Why can't you measure it in metres?  All tape measures have inches/yards on one side and centimetres/metres on the other.

2.54 centimetres to an inch if you must to the calculations.

  5. Measure in feet, divide by 3 for yards (roughly the same size as a metre) and then multiply the length by the width, should give you a rough estimate.

  6. [x] square feet to square metres

    into google

  7. 1 inch = 0.0254 meters

    1 foot = 0.3048 meters

if you measure floor's width and length in feet:

width x 0.3048 x length x 0.3048 = the surface of the floor in square meters

    or

if you measure floor's width and length in inches:

width x 0.0254 x length x 0.0254 = the surface of the floor in square meters

  8. 1 Sq Me = 1.199 Sq Yards.

Use the usual length * breadth formula to calculate the number of Sq yards and divide the answer by 1.199

(Length in Yards * Breadth in Yards) / 1.199

  9. 1 inch is about 2.5 cm

why not measure in meters? then you just have to multiply the length by the width.

  10. well there are 2.54cm in an inch so there are 30.48 cm in a foot, so you would just multiply by this. Howevere all measuring dervices have both cm and inch units on them. once you know what the length and width are in metres, you just multiply them, and that gives you tyhe room size in square meters

  11. length by breadth eg if its 3 x 2 its 6 metres square
