  1. You have to get the "for" score and divide it by the "against" score and times it by 100.

    Eg.  1654 is the for and 1437 is the against.

    1654 divided by 1437 =1.151009%

    1.151009 x 100 = 115.1009%

  2. u dividethe for by the aginst then tim by 100 try it

  3. It has to do with how many points the teams has scored and conceded.

    Example.

    Geelong scores 150 points and Carlton score 75 points.

    Geelong have doubled their score.....

    so 150/75 x 100/1............ = 200%

    Where as carlton have....

    75/150 x 100/1...........= 50%

    So in general the percentage is a fraction of points scored divided by points conceded. Multiply this by 100 to get a percentage.

  4. I have read all the answers but there is a simpler way.

    you have a calculator i presume

    Take the total FOR (points scored) divide that by the AGAINST (points against) and then hit the % button, bingo up comes the percentage.

    example   team A   137

                      team B    87

           137 DIVIDED BY 87, PRESS %= 157.47 FOR TEAM A

            87 divided by by 137, press %=63.50. for team b

    but they dont get that for each game they play of course, they are all added on to the FOR nad AGAINST for a tally,

    That example would work for the first game of the season only, then you just keep adding ewach weeks to the next weeks games.

    see i told ou i would make it simple, if you read it, it all makes sense,  dont worry about multiplying by 100, just hit the % at the appropriete time, in the sum.

  5. Say you wanted Collingwood's percentage, and they beat Melbourne the week before. The scores were 120-85.

    You then divide Collingwood's score by their oppositions,

    120 divided by 85 = 1.411....

    You then multiply the answer by 100 (1.411 x 100 = 141.1%)

    Also, on the ladder you will notice that there is a Points For collumn, and a Points Against collumn. These collumns display the total amount of points scored for and against throughout the whole season.  After the completion of each round, the points for collumn is divided by the points against collumn to give the percentage.

  6. how much money is spent on each team at the TAB

  7. The percentage is the percentage of points that team "A" have scored against the points that team "A" have conceeded. Here is the calculation

    After Rd2

    For = 200 pts

    Against = 150 pts

    First you divide F by A (it doesn't matter if A is more that F)(200 divided by 150)

    That will equal 1.33333 dadadada...

    Then times the result of F divided by A (1.3333333 in this case) by 100. This equals 133.3333...

    Therefore, team A's percentage is 133.333333...

    Hope I helped,
