How do you write a book report?

what are its components and what should i do?

it's bcuz the homework just says "read the book and create a bookreport about it".

i would greatly appreciate your help :)

I dislike these cliche ways of book reports - summarizing the books. I choose a topic I like to go deeper in, and write an essay on it. Example: Moby d**k. I wrote book report about the different kinds of desperate loneliness that is portrayed in the book.

if you are talking of school then your teacher wants you to read the story then summarize it on your proper term what you and what you didn't understand.

otherwise book report in other domain of work is to register and report events in the place of work.
