How do you write a letter of resignation to your boss?? I need help on this. never done one before?

i need to leave bc my bf/fiance broke up we work in the same building differnt company. and i just need lots of time to myself and gather myself and i just wanna start over somewhere new

  2. Google resignation letters. There are templates for basic ones all over the web. Keep it straight forward and if you hated your job, don't say anything negative. Never burn your bridges.

  7. I do not know your circumstances...if you are being "forced out" it would be quite different from leaving for a better job and also different from needing to leave because your spouse is going to a different job etc etc...

    One important thing....do not burn your bridges behind you..as tempting as it might be do not "tell him off" be sincere and professional.....example

    I have gained a great deal of experience here which will be of great value to me in the future.  Unfortunately circumstances require that I must leave (((state the reason here)))

    Even if you did not like the job you must have gained some experience about something....

    There must to some reason for leaving....

    to start a family..... to go to a job that will meet my anticipated financial needs.... To broaden my work experience  etc...Good luck and I hope this is a step UP
