How do you write an agon analysis?

I'm supposed to write an agon analysis of Emerson's "The Trouble with Wilderness" Essay for my English Honors class. The problem is.....when the professor was explaining the process of writing it I was pretending to be awake and trying my hardest not to fall out of my chair. :) Can someone help me out? Its due tomorrow morning at 8AM!!!

I identify with your dilemma.  As an aspiring author, the only class I almost died of analysis paralysis in was Literature.  It can almost put you to sleep.  I am NOT familiar with the type of analysis he was describing, but there is a web site below that makes reference to it.  I hope it will jog your memory of how to do it.  I also hope you have Emerson's work before you.  If you do not, check out the second link below.  If the links do not work, just type the addr into your browser.
