How do you write an infringement letter?

I have just gotten a letter from our local police becuase i was speeding...but, I was new to the area and didn't know a thing about the area's speed limits...and certainly didn't know that the school zone limit applied to that part of the street too....!!!???

unfortunealy "being new"   doesnt work as an excuse...

fortuneatly  the school kids werent on the road.

Forget the letter you will loose.......it would be best to just appear in court and explain the situation in full and by doing it this way you will have a greater chance of many options.

1. reduced fine.

2. reduced fine and a defensive driving course.

3. complete dismissal.

4. none of the above.
