How do you write an interview write up !???

cause i have to write a paper, and i found out that i have to write an "interview write up." and i have no clue what it even is....

please tell me what an interview write up is, and how to write one....

  1. what you need are basically the questions and inquiries tat you are going to ask your subject. In the newspaper biz we start with the W's.

    So you need the Who, What, Where, When, Why and if time, the How.

    In a newspaper lead sentence, which ideally is 31 words loing, you answer all of those questions. depending on who you are interviewing, you will have to have some leeway to change your questions to fit the person. For instance, if they are an author, you can always ask if the charatcers in the story are someone they once met, or a compilation of people? Did the events really take place as stated, or did you embellish the events to make them more interesting. What do you plan to do next? How long did it take you to x*x. and so on.  


  2. I don't know exactly, but isn't it like an ordinary interview, you only have to write and summarize the questions and answers to one whole text? I used google to find a sample of an interview write-up, here it goes:
