  1. It's without spaces:

    げんきですか.

    However, the phrase, 'genki desu ka' is usually used in very high-class society people. Normally you'd say:

    gokigen ikaga desu ka

  2. There are no spaces in Japanese sentences. (usually; things are changing on the interwebs among the teenagers, haha)

    Also, you should have a period at the end (not question mark either, since the か marks it as a question already).

    げんきですか。

    It's also more polite to add an honorific prefix:

    おげんきですか。

    o-genki desu ka?

    And then you can add Kanji if you want:

    お元気ですか。
