In literary form. I put "cero punto cuatro" and "cero y cuatro" but both were incorrect..? There're voice clips with the lesson, and when the speaker says "0.4" he says "cero punto cuatro".

  1. Spanish countries use the International System. That means, they don´t use a dot or point, but a comma to separate the whole part of a number and its decimals. So, 0,4 (cero coma cuatro).

But if your text say 0.4 (with a decimal point) the correct reading is "cero punto cuatro" or simply "cuatro décimos".

  2. looks right to me.

    maybe "cero y cuatro décimas"?

  3. You confused me, because you said the clip said exactly what you had put down, "cero punto cuatro". Why do you have it 'both' wrong? At least you had THAT one good. Other form should be "cuatro decimos" ('four tenths')

    good luck.

  4. 0,4
