How do you zoom in really tight using a Sony Cyber-Shot 12X point and shoot? When I was trying to zoom in on

These baby spiders with a tight zoom it would blur out. I ended up having to take a "group" picture of them from a little bit of a distance.

  1. use a tripod.

    if you still have blur issues you can also use a remote trigger on the shutter.


  2. Did you try the macro setting? The one that looks like a flower.

  3. the idea is you stand back, zoom in (being mindful of the minimum focal distance) and then crop the image...

    you can do weird things with a digital camera, try putting a magnifying glass in front of the lens... strange, but it works... ok, so it distorts the edges, but you arent interested in the edges...
