  1. You upper body should always be facing squarely down hill.  A good way to practice this is to put your poles together across the front of your body and hold them out facing down hill.  keep them squared to the bottom of the hill and get the feel of staying squared off.  Once you and your body know where it is supposed to be it makes it easier to keep your self there.  When you find yourself turning your shoulder into the hill this is the point where most crashes happen.

  3. Your upper body should stay facing down the mountain and shouldn't move too much. You're knees should stay the same distance apart and follow the change of pressure on your feet. Hips should stay facing forward in conjunction with you upper body.

    Don't think too much about it just do it!!

  4. Knees...I don't think about them.

    Hips...mostly squared down the fall line, if you imagine a line drawn through your hips. If your hips rotate through a turn to almost point across the fall line, this will make it difficult to initiate the next turn, put more weight on the uphill ski, and probably get you leaning backwards, which is exactly where you don't want to be.

    Upper body, again square to the fall line. However, it is okay to rotate across the fall line more. Sometimes I drive my turns with my downhill hand, which rotates my upper body across the fall line. So long as the hips don't follow, things remain mostly balanced!
