How do yout tune my car subwoofers in???????

i have a pioneer stereo deck a 1000w xplod amp and 2 800w pioneer subwoofers and they are in a custom made box it is small and u cant really hear the subwoofers outside of my truck so i dont know if i should cut a hole at the top of the box or what need some help BEST ANSWERS FAST!

  1. your amp should have an input level s***w just fiddle with it till you get the sound you want


  2. you tune subs by tuning the box they are in. sorry...simply cutting a hole in it will not do anything but make it worse. you need a properly made and tuned ported box.

    besides, why do you wnat to hear them outside of the truck? the whole idea to good sound is to keep the sound in. you can still be really loud and keep the sound in.

  3. You can tune your amp to put out more bass. If you look on the side on the amp you will  see nob's, you have to use a flat tip s***w driver to adjust. Tune the amp to the sound quality that your liking.
