  1. same as you move anywhere it is only a ferry ride away the choice is yours

  2. ferry from Belfast to troon or stranraer. Seriously though the Scottish people love the Irish people, I have family that went from Scotland to southern Ireland. Good Luck

  3. I would suggest as quickly as possible

  4. get on a plane and fly over....

  5. looking at property, taking out a (large) mortgage, selling their home, book a removal team who travel across the Irish sea, travel from the port to the town/village/city, Put all your stuff inside, arrange them to your liking, and settle in

  6. I don't know.  But it is not called southern Ireland, it is called THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND.

  7. Hello Nicols,

If you are worried about immigration, then don't, you can forget immigration, you won't be bothered by them at all, as you are moving from Ireland all you need to do is sort out your new address, find the job, load the truck and go, and kilt wearing, is not demanded of you.. It's all basically simple, and enjoy your new life in Scotland, you will be really welcome, and have a wonderful life there, we will really miss you though, so as the Scots say.."Haste ye Back" Bye Tony M

  8. I would guess that involving an aeroplane, or ship would be a good idea
