  1. Black Empowerment is black people , a race that has been enslaved , imprisoned given half or none of everything in this country and taking that experience and learning and gaining strength , when you are black you are taught to be the best person you can be because you represent you people, similar to Americans that want to do the right thing , but totally different for any other particular race.

  2. The Native American movement for empowerment is fairly new, and dose not have the recognition of the current establishments. I have seen some steps recently to redress some of the past wrongs. The Black Empowerment movement is about fifteen years older, and hence better organized and connected. Much of the time, money and effort spent by both movements would be better directed internally to educate and foster development of the people in question. A productive use of some of this energy would be to remind others that we are people too. We have hopes and dreams, wish better for our children, and seek only equality, not to be placed as an elite. These are my thoughts.  Blackowl
