How does Affirmative Action affect Asian Americans?

In general, has it benefited the group or put them at a disadvantage?

I've heard varying theories on this. I'm not an expert on affirmative action, but I read somewhere that at first, since Asians are a minority, they got perferential treatment. Then someone decided there were too many of them in the universities and changed affirmative action to work against them, which really sucks.

Affirmative action has been ruled unconstitutional in many states in recent years.  It has no affect on the Asian Americans in Michigan since it is not legal anymore.

Asian Americans probably don't need much help getting employment and getting into universities since they do well by themselves already.  They are already the highest paid minority group in the US of A.
