not sure about McCain but  Gores most visable form of profit is his $100,000-$200,000 per engagement appearance fee...

shoot man goes to an event a month and he will cleat 1.8 mil just for talking an hour a month!!

Al may profit by investing in what he believes in, and selling carbon credits and anti-warming technology.

John may profit by using the idea to win the presidency (as seen in the clip) *or* people may entertain themselves by drinking beer at home (rather than travelling) which might increase profit for his wife's company.  Maybe they will drink to reduce the stress of worry about global warming . . .

Global Warming isn't a scam! Look at my other answers and you'll know WHY! And take a look at my name! And they can't profit at it. If anything they'll lose money by helping us.

I think its obvious with Al, but with McCain it is another example of his equivocation.  If GW catches on as a big fad, then McCain can say "I was for legislation from the beginning", if not, no loss.
