  4. Ella May Euell (the alleged rape victim) was beaten on her left cheek.  She said that Tom Robinson did this.

    Tom Robinson's right arm was withered, and he could not have beaten her or the damage would have been on her right cheek as he would have to use his left arm.

    BTW - you are really missing out on a LOT by not reading this book.  Even if you don't want to read it for english, make sure you do at some point as it is the kind of book that makes you grow as a person.

    However, if you don't read the book all is not lost as this is one of the few instances where the movie (the Gregory Peck version) has as much to offer as the book.  In fact, do both.  You know you want to.
