OK if I send an email to 10 addresses in the "To" section, and put 10 in the "CC" section and 10 more in the "BCC" section... who's addresses are listed in the email? (Btw is there a difference in To and CC?) Can the people in the BCC see who I sent it to in the To part? Vice versa? Can ppl in the BCC see others in the BCC section?

  1. BCC = Blind Carbon Copy... ie.. These people will see who it was TO, and who you CC'd (Carbon Copied), but will NOT see the others BCC'd.

    Hope that makes sense.

The difference between CC and TO is simply that you might want to send something TO a person and carbon copy the e-mails to others so they know what you sent. But, each will know it was sent to them..

BCC is good for the stupid forwards. You can send it TO another address of your own, BCC everyone else, and they won't get each others e-mail addresses.

    Hope that makes sense

  2. To: is for the people who will be in charge, the people who will reply your message. they will not see BCC people

CC: copy of your message will go there, just to inform them, maybe they will send their comments.they will not see BCC people

BCC: secret or hidden copy will go there, the others will never knows about it , only this list will know each other, To and CC list.
