How does Biden "change" Obama's platform since the beginning of his run?

Well, Biden is the guy who "complimented" Obama at the beginning of Obama's campaign by saying (paraphrased) that Obama was the first clean, intelligent black candidate to run for President.  He also said in the debates that Obama was not qualified to be president and that he would be more comfortable with McCain.  So I guess he has changed quite a lot.  I find it beyond amazing that Obama picked him as a running mate.  They are a great example of a walking contradiction.

I thought it a questionable move at first, but let's be honest here - there are people who are unsure about Obama, whether it's propaganda about his faith, his associations with people, where he grew up, etc.

Too many uncertainties.

The Obama campaign had to go with a "safer choice". Obama is already far too different for many people, so they had to make a more "approachable" ticket, so to speak.

Biden presents the good-natured, appealing white Catholic male, with experience and a fiesty but warm personality. It's exactly the complement to Obama's calmness and fresh take on politics.

Also, it is very reminiscent of John F. Kennedy - a Junior Senator himself - who chose LBJ as his running mate, a Senior Senator with tons more experience.

When handed the presidential election on a platter they find a way to s***w it up.

They nominate the most far left wing radical member of congress, who then picks the most vocal critic of him and 3rd most liberal member of congress.

It appears that Biden has Tourettes Disorder which causes him to blurt out inappropriate words and phrases at any time.

Biden is just another reason not to vote for Obama. Besides, Hillary is not done trying to steal the nomination. Just wait until Monday. She's not done trying to split the vote at the convention.
