My first opinion would be "don't do it!"

But I know you will anyway so I say hairspray, wax, or hair putty type stuff? Perhaps a gel spray, which holds like a gel but it isn't "gooey."

It looks like he teased it, and then sprayed it with hairspray, then dried it with the blow drier.

I think he uses the GOT2B hair glue. You can easily find them at stores like Target, CVS Pharmacy, Or Walmart. {It's a yellow plastic container} =]]]
