Where are you stationed overseas?

It means that you will be sent back home to your husband's home of record or an address that you designate within CONUS!

most likely you will be issued an airline ticket, yes, you can take your pet home!

not an option unless you are OCONUS.   and the only USCG bases we have OCONUS I think are in Hawai'i.  

the sponsor must request ERD.  the family member cannot.   you can choose the location.  any expenses incurred regarding the pet will be out of pocket.
