dunno...but i use it. i think the SALTINESS (hint hint) helps kill germs...but it does help me with my infections

From experience, I think epsom salts draw out the toxins in our bodies. When I've overworked my body, I soak in a tub of hot water and epsom salts mixed in. This softens the hardening muscles and draws out the lactic acid from the muscles to lessen soreness the next day.
