If I put Frontline on my cat who has fleas, does this get rid of the fleas on her or just prevent more from hopping on?

Also, a long time ago, someone mentioned to me about a flea product that kind of creates a "barrier" that moves with the animal....does Frontline do this? Please explain.

Thank you!!!

  2. Yes Frontline is a barrier for the animal.  The liquid is absorb into the hair folicles and it helps prevent fleas you still need to get rid of the fleas she currently has.  I recently got a kitten with fleas and I gave her 1 flea a day for 3 days and she no longer has fleas.  Also if the cat is inside you will need to vacuum the rug with flea killer powder so the eggs that may have fallen off her or fleas that jumped off her can be killed and not jump back on her.

  3. It dissolves into the natural oils of your pet's skin and coat. You usually put it near their neck so they don't l**k it off. It works it's way over and around your pet's body and provides your pet with a long-lasting flea and tick protection. It kills fleas and ticks before they bite your cat.
