  3. Read the book or watch the movie - it's pretty obvious. Also - you're posting in the wrong category.

  4. he learns to read. and he finds his mother.  

  5. he gets his courage as he becomes closer to stanley yelnats. he becomes braver and is able to then stand up to the people that push him down.

  6. at first all he does is dig holes. not even talk. When Stanley comes, he continues digging holes, but he talks only to Stanley. He changes by talking and develops by building a relationship with Stanley, something he didn't do before.

    Oh yeah, and he learns to read and write. And does find his mother.

    Great book by the way! Are you reading it or cheating?
