Prophet Mohammed (saw)  declared, "Paradise lies at the feet of mothers".  Mothers sacrifice their beauty and youth for their children. They go through the severe pains of childbirth.

When a man asked Prophet Mohammed, "who is most worthy of my love and respect?", the prophet answered "your mother" three times before saying "your father".
