That was only a sound bite, I would like to hear the entire speech.  However, I feel he hasn't got any idea what the life of an "average" American Worker is.

what's so surprising? mccain's contempt of those struggling in this country is palpable. it just reflects the larger republican ideology where worship of wealth and hatred of the poor is regular business...all while pandering to the poor with conservative social policies.

he thinks the middle class is people who have less than 5 million dollars. so he must think that poor people are people who only make 100,000 a year.

When he threw down the gauntlet about picking lettuce for 50 dollars an hour, then told the crowd "you couldn't do it", not wouldn't, but couldn't, I understood the truth that John McCain has a very dim view of ability and determination of American workers.

I am very wealthy, I have never worked a day in my life, I live on a trust fund and have several mansions and yachts around the world, so I really don't care about the average American worker.  My managers send their jobs to Indonesia.  All I care about is even more money and McCain promises to cut my taxes so the middle class and that precious average worker can pay to keep the country afloat.  Thats why I always vote Republican, Go GOP!!!
