He says he is against raising taxes, but then said he would raise them to fund social security. Is he planning on pushing the debt on to the next generation, or will he raise taxes to pay the Chinese debt?

  1. Good misrepresentation.  Let me have a try at that.

Obama would repeal the bush tax cuts and has proposed trillions of dollars in new domestic and international social programs.  How is he going to repay the debt.

The problem with the democrat party is they are content with reslicing the pie.  The republicans prefer to make the pie bigger.  If you aren't getting a big enough slice, either you aren't trying or are a dolt.

  2. using our own oil.  800 billion dollars a year would pay for an awful lot.

  3. Why should we pay them back?  Before they became our manufacture hub we loan them billions of dollars.  Where is your cry for them to pay us back or all the other countries we have helped out though out the years.

  4. most of this can be paid back by limiting gov.' and encouraging business growth

  5. simple steps:

Cut the Bum stash ( welfare ) @ 2 trillion bucks there saved

Stop stealing social security @ 1 trillion.

Ship the welfare sapiens to cuba or europe if they want their "for" freebeeeeees.

Cut government spending. All I want to see on their budget chart is a 99percent military.

Well run in a surplus in just 1 year.

  6. by cutting in other areas of the budget that are proven to be money "cash cows" for the many freeloaders around the world.

  7. Lots of conservatives on this morning huh?  How about we stop giving billions to other countries?

  8. i have to agree with 'Wow" in an ideal world....!!!!!!

Nothing personal about your question, but!...no one can explain to you the 'future value of a dollar' in a blog such as this

....however, as Pablo mentioned, by cutting 'cash cows' , i.e., the interest rate paid on bonds and CDs the 'future value is 'balanced'....if that is too f'ng complex, just go 'ask Hilary', she knows

....anytime a budget as large and fluid as the US annual budget might be, a great deal of 'future value' imaginatives, known frankly as 'advisers' have simply applied a 'window dressing' to the budget 'You' are reading ( or more than likely 'hearing about)

  9. We borrowed the money not Bush. If we cut alot of the meaningless social programs that Clinton enacted we would definitely put a dent in our national debt. Unnecessary social programs and overhead is whats killing us.
