From the ordering counter, I can see the kitchen workers taking the chicken from some compartment. Any details about that?

  1. they scrape it off the rack in the roach infested freezer, then gently place it on the rancid oily grill

  2. I'm a crew trainer at McDonald's.  All chicken is kept frozen until it's cooked, then the crispy is deep-fried for about 7.5 minutes, and the grilled chicken is sprayed with butter and it is grilled on a clean grill for 5 minutes before being flipped and grilled 5 minutes on the other side.  It's covered during this time, keeping it from drying out.  That compartment that you saw was the tray that the chicken is kept in after it's cooked.  This is to keep it warm... this compartment also has a timer, which lets us know when to throw out any unused chicken and cook fresh.

    Hope this answers your question!

  3. Deep fryers for the crispy, microwave for the "grilled".
