How does McDonalds produce food so fast?

Question

I always heard the prepare the days food very early and just microwave it when it's ordered

it does look like they serve it as soon as it's ordered tho, since double cheeseburgers are a cheesy 2 meat patties not aligned mess so it does look like the rush through all orders

Orange_ is right. It's basically an assembly line. You have one person initiating [getting the wrappers/boxes ready for the order], another person putting the ketchup/mustard/veggies/mayo/etc on the sandwich, and then another person putting the meat in the food [we call that "cabinet"].

SOME FAST FOOD RESTAURANTS COOK A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF PATTIES AHEAD OF TIME AND SAVE THEM ON SOME DRAWERS THAT KEEP THEM WARM UNTIL ORDERED.

THE VEGGIES ARE ALREADY SLICED/ CHOPPED.  ALL THEY HAVE TO DO IS PULL THEM OUT OF THE FRIDGE WHEN THEY RUN OUT.

lol no its not days early the patties cook really fast and they put them in tray things and when they get the order they take the patty and put it on the bun and put on all the ingredient its like an assembly line thing, its not that hard

i feel sick just thinking about eating at mc barf. but they work fast and make money even faster. think about it how much does ground beef cost at the store? sometimes less than $1 a pound on sale. imagine the price a huge customer like mc donalds pays, they buy by the metric ton. you walk in and buy a burger for .99 cents. multiply that by millions of burgers a day. subtract the low wages they pay.... the mind boggles at the sheer volume of cash worldwide.
