How does Michael Phelps stay skinny?

The man consumes 12,000 calories a day, five times what a normal human male consumes. I eat 1500 only and I don't have that stomach he have!

  2. He doesn't eat 12,000 calories a day. I heard he eats 1000 but that seems like too little. And there's a little thing called EXERCISE!!!

  3. Well hes 91KG or 200pounds! Its just his arms that look skinny - his chest is BBBIGGG!!!

  4. He swims like 6 hours a day.  And it's not just leisurely swimming, it's all out swimming.

    Fast metabolism helps too.

    I hate him for being able to eat all that and stay skinny.

  7. Well, he swims about 5-6 hours a day.  He eats between 8,000 - 10,000 calories a day.  All he does is eat, swim, sleep.

    I keep hearing how skinny some of the athletes are

    and how they probably don't eat much

    but in reality to train and get into top shape to make it to the olympics, even the anorexic looking athletes have to consume an enourmous amount of food or their bodies would break down
