That's pretty much it, what changes are evident in Prospero from the beginning to the end of the play?

  1. Prospero learns to forgive during the course of the play.  That is his 'transformation'.

  2. He becomes reconciled to the idea of not controlling everything, thus he sets Ariel free. His tone changes, too; he becomes more sympathetic and humane, partly because he sees the drama of the play unfold before him.
