How does RAID kill flies. --seems like a fly that gets "RAIDED" keeps trying to clean its wings?

before it finally drops dead. Whats going on physiologically?

  1. Raid contains a synthetic neurotoxin that excites the nervous system and makes it hypersensitive  to stimuli from sense organs. Symptoms include: tremors, in-coordination, hyperactivity, paralysis before death.

    Its nerve gas for bugs.


  2. Its probably a neurotoxin. I suspect the fly gets the liquid on its wings and dies while cleaning the wings off.
