How does Royal Airmail from the UK arrive in the United States?

I am receiving a package that someone sent from the UK via Royal Airmail. What service will deliver it to my door in the United States? (Ex. The US Postal Service, FEDex, UPS?)

Hi. I should imagine that this will be handled by USPS, as I have received several parcels from the USA, these originated from the US Postal service and were handled by the Royal Mail when they arrived in the UK, so I would think that the reverse situation would apply.
