Like I've seen them on apts that have patios, but I was wondering what if you don't have one that only you have access too?

  1. saw something the other day that might help, its a suction cup type of bracket that allows you to stick it on the window....sorry , dont know where to get one but you might have some luck with google

  2. I've seen people hang it outside their windows.  You'll be fine as long as you live on the 3rd or higher floor.

Some apartments have satellites included so all you need to do is call the satellite company, and it can hook it up for you.

  3. The best thing to do is call a local retailer and have them come out and look.  Local retailers don't get paid unless they install it so they have more incentive to find a way to get it in.

Plus their customer service is usually much better.

  4. If the Apartment building allows them at all - the satellite company can usually figure out a way to put it up - even if they have restrictions about not bolting them on.

  5. You don't necessarily have to put it on a porch or patio.  Cement isn't a prerequisite to satellite TV.
